Dentures

Dentures restore your ability to eat comfortably, speak clearly, and smile without hesitation. Modern dentures look considerably more natural than those many people remember from a generation ago, and they're fitted far more precisely.

A full denture replaces all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw. A partial fills specific gaps while your remaining natural teeth stay in place, and it also stops those teeth from drifting into the empty space. Which one suits you depends on how many teeth are missing and the condition of the rest of your mouth — in some cases a bridge or a dental implant is the better answer.

Fitting takes several appointments — impressions, a try-in stage where we check the fit and appearance, then adjustments once you've worn them a while. That last part matters. Nearly everyone needs small refinements in the first few weeks, and we'd rather you come back than put up with a sore spot.

Coverage

Dentures are covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan for eligible patients, subject to pre-authorisation and frequency limits. We'll submit the request and confirm what's approved before starting, so there are no surprises.
