Wisdom Teeth Removal
Assessment and removal of wisdom teeth before they cause problems. Available at our Kitchener, ON dental clinic.

About Service
Wisdom teeth usually arrive in the late teens or early twenties, and there's often not enough room for them. When they come in at an angle or stay trapped beneath the gum, they can crowd neighbouring teeth, trap bacteria, and cause repeated gum infections.
Not every wisdom tooth needs removing. If yours have come through cleanly and you can keep them clean, leaving them alone is perfectly reasonable. We'll take an x-ray, show you what's actually happening, and give you a straight answer either way rather than defaulting to extraction.
When removal is the right call, doing it sooner is generally easier — the roots are less developed and recovery is quicker in younger patients. We'll walk you through the procedure, what to expect afterwards, and how to manage the first few days.
Recovery and coverage
Most people are back to normal within a few days, with some swelling and tenderness early on. We'll send you home with clear aftercare instructions. Extractions are covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan, though surgical removals may need pre-authorisation — which we submit on your behalf.
X-ray assessment before any decision is made
